Taking part in Muzikos Salė

We invite jazz musicians to register and join the Lithuanian Jazz Union (LDF) stand at Muzikos Salė, organised by the AGATA Association, from 27 February to 2 March 2025.

Registration for the LDF stand is open until 10 November (the same deadline as AGATA registration for your own stand).

You can register for the LDF stand by filling in this form: https://forms.gle/a94GEHutfi9UNmva7

The stand is intended to represent the Lithuanian jazz community. As always, LDF will sell the music of all jazz groups wishing to distribute their releases there. No registration is needed for this; simply bring your albums to LDF and agree to the terms set by LDF.

In addition, four to six registered bands will have the opportunity to become “focus” bands. This means they will have the right to be present at the stand throughout and to offer, promote and distribute their releases directly. They will also be featured in the stand’s visuals and in LDF’s promotion.

What does LDF offer to registered bands that pass the selection?

  • a cosy corner on the LDF stand,
  • the chance to talk directly with album buyers,
  • LDF will take care of the stand design, which will include the selected band’s name, photo and a short description,
  • promotion through LDF channels,
  • one participant pass and 2 single-entry invitations to the Knygų Mugė (Vilnius Book Fair).

What do we expect from you?

  • fair, respectful and responsible sharing of the stand space,
  • friendly and active interaction with colleagues and music buyers,
  • responsible and punctual submission of the information needed for the stand decoration,
  • a participation fee of 120 euros.

How does this registration differ from AGATA registration?

AGATA registration gives you the opportunity to have your own stand, which you can decorate according to your own wishes and means. However, AGATA runs its own selection, and jazz musicians compete with better-known artists and organisations from other genres.

Therefore, by mutual agreement with AGATA, LDF is able to present a limited number of “focus” jazz musicians, giving them cheaper participation (there is no need to pay for stand decoration), less competition in the selection for a stand, and enabling a larger number of jazz musicians to present their work at Muzikos Salė.

In its selection, LDF will give priority to bands:

  • that released a new album on a physical format in 2024 / 2025,
  • all of whose members are members of the Lithuanian Jazz Union,
  • that agree to the LDF stand design and the stand-sharing terms.
