Call for Tracks: Jazz from Lithuania 2025

The Lithuanian Jazz Union announces the call for tracks for its annual compilation “Jazz From Lithuania”. As is tradition, an independent international jury will select the tracks blind (without knowing the names of the performers or the tracks) for the album, which represents Lithuanian jazz at Muzikos Salė, the Jazzahead! fair and other events.
Tracks and the required information can be submitted until 28 September (inclusive).
One or two tracks (no more) may be submitted, reflecting different characters or means of expression. One track will be selected for the compilation.
Submitted tracks must meet the following criteria:
- Tracks must have been released between the second half of 2024 and 2025
- The track is submitted in .wav format
- The track must be no longer than 8 minutes (6 minutes recommended)
- The artist or band provides the track title and a description of the band/artist in Lithuanian and English
- A link to the artist’s/band’s profile is provided (website, YouTube, Facebook, Bandcamp, Spotify, etc.)
- A representative photo of the artist or band is provided
All materials must be uploaded to a single Google Drive folder, and the link to it included in the application. The folder must contain: the track (in .wav format, preferably without metadata), a photo, and a text file with the track title, the description (LT/EN) and links to the artist’s profiles. Preference is given to tracks that have already been released and are part of an album. Tracks from an album that has already had another track included in the compilation are not eligible.
The activities of the Lithuanian Jazz Union are funded by LTKT.
